The Typecast application is a browser-based tool that enables Web designers to exert complete creative control over the use of Web fonts. This includes making precise adjustments to font size and line spacing, as well as the ability to employ OpenType® font technology features such as ligatures, small caps, fractions, old-style figures and swash characters. Typecast works with a variety of Web fonts services, enabling users to combine, compare and style Web fonts within the browser, without the need for hand-coding.
Typecast offers exceptional capabilities without requiring users to be expert at writing code. Thanks to Typecast’s ability to automatically generate production-ready HTML and CSS code in real time, creative professionals can be more productive. At the same time, because users can visually style text directly within the browser, they can more easily experiment with different fonts and design directions, enjoy increased typographic control and simplify their workflow.
